I was walking through a souk in Dubai one morning when I was overcome by the bakhour fumes emanating from a nearby shop that was diffusing a strong odour of Oudh. Time seemed to have stopped. This was the first time that a fragrance has affected me so strongly.

In the top note, the oudh very discreetly accompanies notes of saffron and intoxicating fruits (prune and blackcurrant). Middle notes of tuberose, rose, ylang ylang accord continues to let it wait in the background. Finally it is liberated: bewitching, persistent and profound, all thanks to a remarkable combination of precious woods (santal amyris, malaysian gurjum, cipriol, indian jastamansi).
