In 1977, Marie-Claude Lalique took over the company and breathed the winds of modernity and femininity into Lalique's creations. She revamped the designs, bringing in bright colors and her innate sense of movement. An artist and sculptor, for her first creation in glass, representing a dove, she bought a live animal to study and recreate its movements.
