At the heart of the fragrance, cardamom, both noble and spicy, blends harmoniously with the powdery elegance of iris. This black cardamom, developed exclusively for Matiere Premiere, reveals a unique smoky dimension. In the base, benzoin mixes with cedar to anchor the fragrance in a woody and resinous richness, while a subtly sweet touch of ethyl maltol perfects the dark and gourmet image of Santal Austral Extrait.
